Suddenly when the ultra tried to finish off the monster with his Specium Ray, Bemstar absorbed his ray into its gorge, recharging the space monster and allowing it to physically manhandle Jack with ease. At first, Jack and Bemstar were physically matched with one another. With no other option, Goh transformed into Ultraman Jack to face Bemstar himself. Kato fired at the monster with a "Schmidt Optics Missile," hoping it would destroy the monster, but the weapon had no effect on the monster, who continued its rampage.
